Description goes hereIn September 2015, a handful of Muslim women gathered in the offices of Pollen in the North Loop of Minneapolis. They began to share their experiences and their observations about female leadership, civic engagement, and community involvement. Muslim women were teachers, scholars, professionals, activists, philanthropists—doing the work but going unacknowledged. Coupled with anti-Muslim rhetoric and a rise in harassment and hate crimes targeting Muslim women, the need for a platform founded on sisterhood was clear.

Women in their 40s through 60s are finding new ways to connect, build friendships, and learn together through a new kind of programming at JFCS. Every  six to eight weeks, JFCS is hosting gatherings designed specifically for women in this life stage, offering meaningful programming, engaging learning experiences, and opportunities to share time in a warm and welcoming environment.

Lake Area Women in Business (LAWIB) began its journey in May 2010 when a group of visionary women, initially members of the chamber, pondered the prospect of cultivating a vibrant community where women could eagerly anticipate meetings, forge new friendships, and foster beneficial connections to enhance their businesses. Acknowledging the broader appeal beyond Forest Lake, they launched LAWIB on May 21, 2010

One of the most common reasons members join WIN [formerly BPW], is for the great networking opportunities…a women's networking group and fun! Meeting new people, sharing information, and gaining the support of other women are mainstays of WIN.

The WE Forum brings together women in business throughout the SE Minnesota region who wish to share knowledge and resources to support new business creation and growth.

We offer 3 different types of programming: morning speaker panels, lunch workshops and afternoon socials.

Our in-person workshops and panels are held at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Rochester Campus. Our socials are held at local businesses.

The north metro's most dynamic women's networking group, designed for busy professionals, with over 50 women connecting each month to build business, build relationships and strengthen the community.
